Please study the online reading list at http://www.baldworm.co.uk, talk to your friends, look at the selection in class, and come up with a list of five books that you want to read over the long summer break.

Please bring into class tomorrow any books you think your chums will enjoy (you don't need to lend them - we're bringing them in so we can all have a look!)

You are going to write a story with an exciting first line, and then 'set the scene' using our descriptive techniques.

You should then continue the story using direct speech and more description. Don't forget to indent your speech!
