Year 5 Persuasive Writing & Bald Worm Video Mini-Guide



We are learning how to persuade a reader. Don't forget the 'A Forest' mnemonic:

A - Alliteration

F - Facts
O - Opinions
R - Rhetorical Questions
E - Emotion
S - Statistics
T - Rule of three (Repeat something 3 times to make it stick)

Task: Create an advert for 'Falcons Tooth Paste'. Write a paragraph of 10 lines using rhetorical questions, facts, statistics, experts and the rule of three.
