Year Five and Six Homework: Haiku, Brackets and Flipped Classroom Homework on Setting the Scene

Year Six

We have been learning about haiku.

Task: Write a Housework Haiku on your Kidblog. Make sure you 'take a sentence for a walk' using your Cards before commiting each line to paper.

Due: Friday

Year Four & Five

1. Write a description of your ideal – perfect – bedroom. Include a bracket in every sentence.

My bedroom (which is at the top of the stairs next to the Cinema) is like a New Year's Eve party. The bed (which is made from pure gold) is next to the enormous bookcase, and just behind the Playstation 5.

Feeling clever? Include similes and metaphor, too!

2. Prepare for Friday's lesson with this Flipped Classroom homework.
