Year Five: Writing up Drones Club Story for Display


Write up first 15 lines of your Drones Club story in sharp lead pencil. Use your neatest handwriting style - and make sure you join your letters!

Include all four of the characterisation techniques.

Please illustrate (using coloured pencils only). You could draw:
* Pigs
* Top Hats
* Cocktail glasses
* Jeeves

An Inspector Calls...



Next week, the Falcons School for Girls will be welcoming a team of inspectors. How can you prepare, girls?

1. Watch these two videos;
2. Make sure your dress and hair - including hair ties - is immaculate;
3. Polish your shoes
4. Tidy your pencil case and bag. Do you have all the correct pens?

Using hyphens and Dashes

We have been learning to use hyphens and dashes.

Task: Write a description of Bertie Wooster's untidy flat. Write ten lines. Include both dashes and hyphens.

Feeling clever? Include a semi-colon and colon, too.
