Year Six Homework: 'The Stolen Goldfish'


Write a story entitled 'The Stolen Goldfish'. Write 1 1/2 sides of A4.

I'm looking for you to 'set the scene' at the beginning using 8 lines of description, including figurative language (simile, metaphor and personification); try to include all of the Punctuation Pyramid in this description, too.

Make sure that you brainstorm and plan before you start writing, girls!
