Year Five Weekend Homework
We have begun learning to write stories set in the Victorian period. We will be learning to develop our use of descriptive techniques.
Task: Please write a 10-12 line description based on the Victorian image. Try to use as many of our descriptive techniques as you can; don't forget to try to reach 'level 5' on the punctuation pyramid as you write!
Year Six Weekend Homework
You are going to begin the 'Passport to the World' project.
1. Decide on your country;
2. Begin your research (a) the capital, (b) the major geographical features and (c) the currency.
