Year Five Fiction: Pricking Pomposity in a Dialogue

We are going to learn to write comic - funny - stories using three tricks:
1. Hyperbole
2. Pricking pomposity
3. Fantasies of violence

Write a conversation where a silly young man makes Sir Roderick Spode get in trouble with a policeman!

Write 3/4 side of A4. Don't forget to check your punctuation of direct speech and include plenty of shown feelings

Don't forget that you can learn more at our pupil wiki page for this unit.

Feeling clever? Include plenty of 'Wodehousian' vocab.
