Year Five Fiction: Writing Comic Stories

We are going to learn to write comic - funny - stories using three tricks:
1. Hyperbole
2. Pricking pomposity
3. Fantasies of violence

Homework:
To write comic stories we're going to need lots of ideas. You are going to keep a journal of comic ideas.

Include jokes, silly rhymes and amusing pictures in your journal.
