I put my hand in a box and...
I rustled around to find a long lost charm from a friend when I was thirteen. The charm was a silver heart, but it has a deep scratch across. The charm twinkled like a star shining in the night’s sky. I remember the strange girl who I'd met every day throughout the summer in the woods. Hi Alex! What a mature piece of writing. It is obvious to me that you have taken the time to plan your themes and structure before you sat down to write this. As a reader, I am very much interested in finding our more about the girls' relationship, in why the girl disappeared and who she was. Perhaps you could link your next piece of writing somehow? Also, which authors inspired you to write this piece?

Hi Alex!
Wow, what a wonderful entry to 100WC. You introduce an incredible and intriguing mystery in just a few lines. Between the unusual meeting place and her sudden disappearance, I sense that there is a powerful symbolic meaning to the deep scratch across the charm. Fascinating. I'm truly excited to read more. Well done!
Wow cool but isn't that weird that she left without saying any thing?
