Amy's 100 Word Challenge Entry

Enjoy Amy's entry, a prose poem, below:

Ketchup, oh ketchup, I cannot explain  how much I love you! You explode in my mouth like a thousand fireworks going off on bonfire night! Ketchup, I have you at breakfast oozing out of my bacon butty. You’re with me at lunchtime hiding away in my lunch box safe and sound.

You’re here with me at dinnertime helping me to eat all those horrible greens! Ketchup, oh ketchup, I love you!

I like/love...
I wish you had...

Amy I really like you piece of writing for the 100WC. I love ketchup too. I especially liked the bit when you talked about ketchup exploding in your mouth like fireworks. This was a great idea. Keep up the brilliant writing. :)

So Amy - you like ketchup! This is a fun piece and I'm very pleased to see it on the 100WC. I do hope you will share more of your work! We need more ketchup I think!!

Amy you have created some super imagery in your 100WC to describe the taste of ketchup. I like your use of oozing and hiding when you talk about ketchup to help the reader imagine it as more than just a sauce!
